Refund and Returns Policy
At HM Carpet House, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, we understand that sometimes a return or exchange may be necessary. We strive to be transparent about our policies and avoid any hidden fees. Below are the conditions and limitations of our return policy.
Limitations
- Private/custom orders cannot be exchanged unless there is a manufacturing defect, which will be determined by HM Carpet House.
- Returns are only accepted if the product is in its original, unused condition.
- Products with modifications (scratches, stains, damages, drilling, or any alterations) are not eligible for return.
- Customers must open and inspect all purchased items within 24 hours of delivery while maintaining the original packaging. Failure to do so voids eligibility for return due to damage or defects.
Non-Refundable Purchases
- Assembled or disassembled items
- Gift cards
HM Carpet House reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange at any time and may require photo identification for verification.
Product Specification Disclaimer
- Our inventory is frequently updated with new raw materials, which may result in slight variations in color or texture in restocked items.
- If customers place separate orders at different times for the same item, they should expect minor differences in color or texture due to evolving manufacturing technology.
Return Process
- Refunds will be processed via bank transfer within 7 working days from the cancellation date.
- If payment was made via credit card, the refund will be credited back to the original card.
Order Cancellation
- Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement (whether online or through a sales agent).
- After 24 hours, cancellation incurs a bank charge deduction (amount varies).
- Customized orders are non-refundable and do not qualify for cash back.
Special Orders
- Made-to-order products cannot be returned or exchanged.
Delivery and Pickup Charges
- If a return is made without a valid reason, the original delivery charge will be deducted from the refund.
- If the product was shipped with free delivery, a minimum charge of 150 AED will be applied for pickup.
Notification Period
- We must be notified within 3 days of product delivery for return requests.
- After 3 days, we will no longer be able to accept returns.
Refund Process
- If an order’s delivery time exceeds the originally estimated or agreed timeframe, you may cancel it.
- Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement.
- 95% of the purchase amount will be refunded within 7 working days, while 5% will be deducted for bank charges.
- Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be canceled.
- Customized products are non-refundable.
